Really elegant cars and I too would like to find a hybrid car in my financial range to buy.

Seems to me, paying the same price for a car our parents paid for the home we grew up in is a little silly. ALL of the EV's are over-priced for the average working man/woman to afford. Has anyone actually done the Cost-per-mile math? Or am I kidding myself.

I really hate to see Asia beat up on us like this.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to mention that the Volt is not a conventional hybrid, but rather a plug-in hybrid with a range more than three times that of Toyota's?
