Obama Gives Queen Elizabeth II an iPod

These words are filled with the joy that I feel regarding the never-before-seen photo of the man who is the "world’s-leader", his wife and the Queen of England.

The historic point and marvel point here, is that the President and 1st Lady are African Americans from the United States of America.

With the typing of the words, “the President and 1st Lady are African Americans from the United States of America,” for some reason, tears have instantly filled my eyes - both eyes. It is April 1, 2009, a day in history I have witnessed, a Southern-born , African American woman, born 63 years ago in Tennessee.

It is a day for all the world to rejoice.

To rejoice that, "hope" and "change" is when you least expect it. Yes we can – did.

Way to go Mr. President and 1st Lady.

I feel it is very historic for the Queen as well.
