Get rid of your pets? HORRIBLE! How irresponsible and cruel! Dump 'em on someone else while thousands and thousands of other pets in shelters won't get adopted, just euthanized! Once you get a pet, that little life is YOUR responsibilty! What cruelty! Don't have kids, have money instead? Pick up change and use coupons? What the heck kind of advice is this? Anyone can write anything nowadays and post it online. This article is one of the most ignorant, irresponsible, and heartless pieces of garbage I've ever read! MONEY MONEY MONEY!

MONEY,MONEY .....MONEY....ya money is very necessary for our lives but money is not every thing.we can buy lover with money but can't buy love,we can buy a big house with money but can't buy a sweet home,we can buy fame with money but can't buy respect..and kids,hello author u forgot you was also a kid.your parents used to take care of you but i think you left your parents in a old house as usually happens in your country so how you can know "what are kids?".I can't express my feelings when my son kiss on my cheeks and when he first time called me mama...we will only go alone from this world all money and everything will left here.

but here in asia a family is minimum 6 people. even there are familis which has a dozen of son/daughter how can they save thier money. its so hard for them that they even can,t provide shoes for them.

You don't have kids so they can take care of you in your old age. It's true they're expensive, but when they grow up they can be your best friends and great company. I wouldn't be without my three. Money isn't everything - unless of course you don't have any?
Many people are poor because they nickel and dime themselves - that latte factor/eating out/impulse buys/buying processed foods. If people only ate what is sold in the perimeter of the supermarket they would save a bunch of money and improve their health in the process, thus saving even more in the long run.

Who knows... perhaps the writer of the above article does not have kids and neither a fish... The key to keep on with little money is first accepting we are not only facing such situation, we are going through, and we, by ourself, must be the first and last person to know WHAT and HOW MANY UNNECESSARY EXPENSES we have (and how much do we spend on them)... and being disciplined enough to stick to our REAL AND CURRENT grounds...
Again, the pet owners who could afford a house with the money they spent in their pets... The "pets" are not specified, neither the expenses those meant... Nice try, but didn't convinced.
Regarding the kids, if the individual is not financially good like for supporting a child, then the wisest thing, for him/herself and the child, it's not having... Once the person is financially prepared for welcoming little ones, then, go for them...
And finally, my respect for the delivery pizza guy...
