Just because you have been removed from the grid does not mean you no longer exist. You’re down not invisible hold your head up keep a positive attitude, Remember to vote. Check with other before throwing away good...

prepare large items like chairs, beds-frames, floor lamps etc., call Goodwill and they will tell you how and when they will pick-up.

Also, make sure you call family member that are having a hard time getting start after being hit in this bad economy. They may need some of your goods!

Finally, tell your pastor/church that you are moving and post a card there.

when deciding on what to keep, keep this in mind. For what ever you decide to do, If it is too good to throw away try to sell it or use it as a donation. This way if you can sell it you can use the money for the move, and if you cann't sell it you might be able to use it as a deduction for charaty.

Have someone help you that is not ATTACHED to objects or possessions. It is a lot easier to get rid of stuff when someone else is asking why have you been keeping this and you do not have an answer!!

cutting your un-wanted clothing can cut the cost of packing materials. shredding excess paper is also a good packing sorce.

for long hall moving,, make sure the gratuity isn't already in the price.

if moving yourself, check your milage, you can probable get a one way rental, instead of a small daily truck.
