I received monies from a lawsuit years ago & did everything on this list (unfortunately) & now, I have nothing to show for it !
As my lawyer was trying to advise me of the same things as in this article, I can remember him saying, " Easy money can GO just as easily & quickly so BE WISE !" I wish I had listened to him better now. :-(

I received a windfall and did each and every one of the "don't"s listed, and now the $$$ are gone. I do have a promise to pay back for some of it, but I'm not too sure I'll ever see it. I hope this helps someone else.
