There are plethora of social buying sites - Groupon clones out there as it is very easy to join the market - low entry barriers. With so many players out there I think there would be a play for niche players like desisauda.com which offers greats deals from Indian establishments. Just have to see how this market will pan out....

If you like Groupon and LivingSocial, check out one of the 130+ other daily deal sites listed at LocalDealSites.com - it lets you filter by city so you can see which deal a day sites have offers in your area. http://www.localdealsites.com/

Deal sites like groupon and now google offers need to watch out for sites like freefu.com. On freefu, the catch is that a business just has to offer something for free to advertise for free and that business does not need to share any of it profits. A buy one get one free offer is not really different than a 50% off offer, plus there is no revenue split on top of that.
