Your Guide to Health Care Credit Cards

I disagree with the paragraph "What’s in it for your doctor?" I work for a dentist and the only thing in it for us is that the treatment is paid for up front. We do not receive commission. In fact Care Credit and Citi bank take a percent from the dentist when a patient uses care credit or citi bank card, just the same as when a patient uses any other credit card. The percent taken from the dentist is more than your normal household credit cards.

I financed expensive dental work with CareCredit. I paid on time and paid no interest. It's good if you can pay your bills.

I just applied for $2000.00 for my son's wisdom teeth. No insurance with spouse on disability. I was approved for $1000. Was indeed instant notification but there was no option to opt out if the approved amount was not agreed on. There really should be. This isn't a credit card I plan to go on a shopping spree with ... it's for a very much needed medical procedure! I will be cancelling after my trip to the bank tomorrow.
