I have 7 credit cards: discover, 2 amex, macys, banana rep, bofa mbna, chase visa.

I would like to get rid of the discover, banana republic, macys, chase visa, and consolidate the amexes.

By how many points will this hurt my credit score? I think i scored 715 back in 2007/2008.

I also have a $60 bill from a dentist that I refused to pay based on principal. This was back in 2003. He tried billing me for services I never asked for. What should I do about that?
