You got a useful blog I have been here reading for about an hour. When you sell your house yourself, you will improve the odds of selling your home quickly while saving thousands of dollars in commissions.

Enjoyed the article!
1. We had a walk-around inspection done in our small house with a licensed inspector (no formal report, he had me take notes; kept the price very low) in order to detect what problems a formal inspection might turn up-then fix them.
2. We didn't have a patio area in the back yard, had one put in (some people can make it a do-it-yourself project).
3. Most articles mention a fresh coat of paint on the walls. Don't know if it is advisable or not, but we used two tones in some rooms.
4. While we are not planning to sell right away, we are making a list of all the improvements we have done and when they were done.
