Traveling as much as I do, I have several living locations throughout the US and have found utilizing tall (six feet preferably) non-backed, thin width bookcases (less than 30") will work very well as space dividers in apartment living areas and, therefore, can be stocked on one side with theme oriented items for that area while also being filled on the other side of the bookcase with items geared toward THAT living area! It truly makes a difference and adds that special touch for the separate areas...try it and see if it works for you!
