Online shopping provides a lot of opportunities for saving money while shopping. Several cash back sites, coupon sites, rewards programs are available on the net that help shoppers saving online. Such facilities are not available in the brick and mortar stores. Moreover, online retailers provide special offers to the online buyers. Being a frugal online buyer, I always use cash back websites like ShopAtHome, FatWallet, AAfter Search and Ebates, and MrRebates.

I have a jar that I put my coins in. Every time the little change purse part of my wallet is ready to burst, I empty it into my coin jar. I'm not doing without anything. But, when the jar is full, I will have close to $200 of FREE MONEY!

Some excellent ideas to begin with - just by being aware of what money you have coming in and what money is going out is a great start too. When you actually know what you are buying every month and how much you are spending on "stuff" it could really come as a surprise. Using coupons and promo codes is definitely becoming more and more popular and why not? Spending less at the checkout means there is more money left over.
