I am guilty of all of them...

I use the credit card for vacation...

I have the highest cable plan $200 month

I have an iphone with AT&T and I pay about $70 per month

my husband and I have a car each, but we work in opposite directions so is needed and we have a gym membership $30.00 plus personal training $65 per month but we go to the gym at least 3 times a week..

so I guess I'll have to check my options to avoid overspending my hard earned $$$

I dont have a fancy phone...dont need one. I just recently started texting. ( I am a grandma:) My phone cost about $50 and my monthly bill is $49 for unlimited talk and text. I mainly have a cell phone for emergencies and when i travel by myself. of coarse , we have a home phone also. I tried to talk my hubby into gettin just a regular antenna for tv ! That would save $85 a month ! and he also thinks we need high-speed internet, which we dont. There are a lot of ways to cut out unnecessary things in your life.

I cancelled my cable tv ($85 a month) and now spend $8 a month on Hulu Plus (basic Hulu is free). I bought a $15 cable that runs from my large polasma tv to my laptop, and voila! I can watch entire seasons (past and present) TV shows and movies right on my TV, you cant even tell the difference.

I go to the gym five days a week, thanks, Mr. Wang. Works out to $1 a visit. Sounds like you should join me. I'll spot you.

I was paying $100/month for a kickboxing gym membership. Trained 6 days/week. Got my first fight after 3 months. Then I realized after 3 months, I'd save enough in dues to buy a freestanding heavybag. I could get all the workouts I wanted indefinitely.

I ditched the membership but it was tough. No sparring partners or trainers, but then again, I'm not trying to win a world title either - to me its fun, fitness and self defense. Now I run & use my kettlebells while I save for a bag. I miss it & will return to a gym at the right price, but $100/month...c'mon!

I have been tv free for 2 years now and it improved my quality of life, I am not bombarded with half news and commercials all the time. When I want to see a show worth of my time i go to a friends house and we watch it together which makes it special. I have developed other activities and live more in the moment. I will watch tv when I am old and sick!!!!!!
