6 Tips for Living Without Your Unemployment Benefits

Yeah that's right the way of life as you know it is over. The new way of life is here. What the writer doesn't realize is life doesn't come out of a text book. Age, skills , transportation, and other financial commitments can determine what your life style standards will end up being. I can walk away from my financial obligations and the banks will be after me for as long as legal possible. The town and state that I'm from still has over 9.6% unemployment , town is over 10%. And that's the ones that are still being counted. Bottom lines is don't give up on yourself you have something to offer. Even if you start your own business you can make $600 a week if you can (examples) clean houses $45 per room. Clean gutters, or even cleaning up junk from peoples yards and taking it to a recycling center for money.

I love that you suggest things that are so stupid. Get rid of your cell phone/internet? Great, this way nobody can contact you for a job! Going back to school takes a lot of money. Really? Are you suggesting this? When you can't eat, you can't eat and some peope have no family or friends with money to ask for help. Sometimes when you're at a certain age, nobody wants you as well. you really have no clue what a single day feels like for a person with absolutely no money and nowhere to turn.

How does anyone know the actual number of persons needing work, having none, and never having been eligible for unemployment? I am one of those persons.

Based upon my training and background jobs, I did not ever have more than a 2-week employment gap, unless I wanted a gap. My jobs ended. I retrained and re-employed, and could not afford to continue at the income rate I was making. The year, 2006 gave me hope that I could train as an

Accountant, and parlay my background of mortgages and real estate into a higer paying job than the one in front office medical. WRONG... I did quit my job...

so I never have received one penny of unemployment benefits. I have taken every part-time job or any job at all that I am offered to do.

Still unemployed, with my Accounting Degree... went to the "re-employment office" of my locale. They had nothing to offer me. All jobs are filled immediately, apparently- that is the message I receive on every job I reply to at the State of Georgia office.

HOW DO I GET COUNTED. THEY DID NOT COUNT ME AT THE RE-EMPLOYMENT OFFICE-

NOT UNEMPLOYED IF NOT ELIGIBLE FOR BENEFITS.

This is a very under-counted system.

We have been going 14 months without me finding anything that can financially support us. We have only necessities and bills. No cell. No TV. Nothing. One car. Less food (lost 40 pounds in 14 months). We have kids and pets. Only God has been providing. Governments should stop giving money to terrorists in other countries (read ACLJ for more info). America should stop letting illegals work. Stop outsourcing. We, Americans, need help. My family, we have no health or dental funds. We need it badly!! No one has money as they are all broke themselves. No one can find work to sustain. Heck, not even $9/h jobs (need 4 of them, 7 days a week to sustain). I could go on, but unless the state provides money for the bloody taxes I have paid since I was 14 (20+ years ago), things will be worse and we need to let God take even more of it.
