I agree, if you don't like prepaid cards you should check out www.prepaid2cash.com, its a safe and easy way to transfer the money from your prepaid cards to your bank account!

Prepaid credit and debit cards is a robbery. There are so many hidden fees and charges that in the end you pay much more for exactly nothing.

the problem is, many people can't deal with common credit cards and go overdraft. It's like a neverending story then, because it's hard to stop spending more than you can afford.

As for me, I only use prepaid cards that work like cash - gift cards, vouchers, Paysafecards and stuff like that. There is also an amazon voucher which you can give as a birthday present or use yourself. You don't pay the monthly fee for it, nor you pay extra money for the transaction. Safe and anonymous. Much better than the prepaid credit and debit cards.

I do believe there should be some type of regulations or restrictions put on prepaid debit card issuers. Everything should be clear to the consumer before they load or activate the card. It is sometimes confusing when trying to understand fees and benefits. They say that you dont have topay for your card or any monthly fee, but that doesnt make any sense because theyre not running a business for nothing; theyre running it to make money. Its not fair to consumers to tell them they have to pay nothing, then hit them with fees over the simplest or most radical things. If credit card issuers and banks have to follow certain protocol, prepaid debit card issuers must too.
