let's max this baby out before our dear leader Bush leaves office

The democrats love to point the finger at Bush for every problem we have. But let's not forget a few things.

Bush is no angel but he is hardly the only one at fault here. Clinton signed NAFTA which sent lots of our jobs elsewhere. Ask the textile industry what ruined them?

The democrats control both sides of congress. They do as they please and Bush can only threaten to veto things. They are just as guilty of the mess that we are in as Bush and the republicans are.

The change we need is bi-partisan measures. That is the change we need. Someone who can work both sides of the aisle, not just vote party lines.

I saw the debate Tuesday night. The last question was “What do you NOT know…” Obama spent several minutes giving his life story and forgot to answer the question. Why doesn’t the liberal media point out the fact that he did not answer the question? McCain said he did not know the future and that was the challenge we all face. Not a great answer but at least it was honest and on topic.

What has Obama done? Earn the most liberal voting record in congress, write two memoirs and run for higher office half his senate career. Of course I also have to question the fact that he panders to his audience. What will he do when he meets a group that wants something he opposes. Oh wait, he did that already. He changes his tune to suit his audience even if it contradicts what he said 5 minutes ago. Obama toots change as his campaign slogan. Sounds like the same BS to me that we have always had.

Now that hardly sounds like change to me.

You might not like McCain but he has done something Obama has never done and will never do. Work with both sides to get things done. That is why he has my vote.

Wouldn't Karl Marx be proud?

I am fed up with both parties. Could the Dems, GOP & media allow room for another party??? OR better yet, abolish party affiliation altogether & have them run on their individual records!!!

Few understand the size of the hole we're in. Unlike other problems, the national debt does not go away next year or the year after.

It's the 10,000,0000,000 lb gorilla in the room that will eventually bring the standard of living down for 90% of Americans.

When we reach $20 trillion in the next 10 years, the interest alone will cause the debt to escalate quickly to 30 trillion. There will be no money for retirees in 15 years. All programs will be cut.

..for tomorrow's generations will pay our way.

(Gee, sarcasm....how original!)

wait until Obama is pres and gives everybody their $1000, tax rebate every and gives us universal health care and pays for every sutdents college. The $11 trillion debt we have now will look like chicken feed.

We are all the problem. Anyone who purchases foreign goods and services (oil, fuel, cars, electronics, clothes, money, etc) is the root cause of the problem. Certainly our government's federal deficit hurts too. This national debt has the potential to make our country second rate very quick historically speaking. Please rent the documentary movie "IOUSA" when it comes out or get the new book for a better understanding.
