The Government has two sets of books, the one they show us and then the real one with all the hidden money

"GROSS" INCOME of government is now 1/3rd "TAX" income and 2/3rds NON-TAX income derived from: return on INVESTMENTS and money generated from government Enterprise projects.

How about all that spewage from the NAR, Gary Watts, Leslie Appleton-whatever and David Lehria and the new Yun guy.

Real estate, commercial real estate and "Asset Backed Securities" is the more recent problem. Fact: those "assets" were really debts of highly dubious quality.

All that '99 and '02 stuff is interesting, but irrelevant by now.

Another goodie Cheny "Deficits don't matter" - baloney.

And they are still trying to make it sound as if it's still going on as before, when in fact there have been such serious blows to the means of this system as to make one conclude it cannot be fixed at all, only kept alive a little while longer by artificial means.

In fact the government is the only player on earth willing to spend money at the moment, and may be the last one playing.
