Wal-Mart is a sympton, not the disease. We should be appalled to know that Wal-Mart is perhaps the most successful corporation in the United States. It is a disgrace that a discount retail outlet be the largest revenue company in this country. It is disgusting.

But it tell us about the true nature of the American economy, which has been GUTTED by our own government and American corporations who have determined that the American people must race to the bottom of the world labor pool, with the dire consequences we now see all around us, and in which we live every day.

American has become a dump--a dump for cheap foreign goods, a dump for educated, experienced Americans who were tossed out of their livelihoods and lives by outsourcing, offshoring corporations that still today have consultants in place trying to figure out how to get more American jobs either eliminated altogether or sent to another country--any country will do--as long as it is out of THIS country.

And then we have to listen to lying fools like Bill Gates whine to Congress about his problem in getting enough foreigners INTO the United States to take over yet MORE jobs within American companies, to the WILLFUL exclusion of American citizens.

It is a disgrace, but I am seriously considering joining the global economy by leaving the United States and taking whatever is left of my money with me. And my energy, commitment, work ethic and enthusiasm will be going with me.

Good luck, suckas.

As the largest retailer in the history of the world, you might expect that the American success story that is Wal-Mart would act like, I dunno, an American company-- and you might be disappointed.

Wal-Mart's mistreatment of its employees is legendary. The company just settled several lawsuits for $640 MILLION-- all for employee mistreatment.

I work with Wake-Up Wal-Mart, trying to get this company to adhere to industry standards regarding employee treatment. We see horror stories every day.
