I love your management style and your blogs. I am so inspired by your openness and sincerity in all that you do. I have been looking for a job for the past 9 months after being fired and have been finding it difficult. I read your response to one of your comments regarding whether it is always a persons fault for being fired and in my situation it was clearly a vindictive boss who wanted to put her friend in my position. I would really love to know more about how to answer the question "What happened at your last position, why were you fired? I have been working in Human Resources for the past 8 plus years. I really would love to hear from you personally. Thanks much.

All of this boils down to knowing your own strengths and weaknesses, communication, and matrixed accountability.
Funny how most managers I know cant seem to get it right;
