Women can make good leaders, as Miss Taggart does in Atlas Shrugged. But a prerequisite for that situation is that all the men refuse to be leaders themselves. Historically, men have been leaders. Why? Because men should be stronger, physically and mentally. That is the bent of nature. If you want to compete with me, you will probably have to shirk your femininity in order to be taken seriously at all. Even in Atlas Shrugged, Miss Taggart is continually earmarked by an overbearing sense of fatigue and depression in whatever decision that she makes. And she is also portrayed as a feminine beauty who has concealed her nature for the greater good.

When I think about the past, plenty of patriarical tyrants, dictators, generals, cult leaders, and influential speakers come to mind. These are people who make decisions. They are in places of authority. And do you know what the vast majority of these people have in common? They are male. Thatcher became prime minister of Britian when the British were too weak to shuck their fetid liberal entanglement, with social justice meaning that people were leeching off welfare and immigration was destroying the local culture. And Joan of Arc became a leader when the French were too demoralized to win battles. But these are exceptions.

George Washington, for instance, was a better leader than any woman I can think of throughout all of history. People like him don't really exist anymore. But that's the fault of liberals. If a woman can return our country to its center of principle and its trust in God, then so be it. But it would only be because men were too weak to do it themselves.

And I have serious doubts that you, personally, would make a good leader. What do you know about admiration, respect, and command?

Oh....absoLUTELY do women make great leaders... when you're not beating each other up worse than men. Ahh....revenge is sweet. So much for the 'superior sex'...

Read it and weap... And a special kudo goes out to all the 'single moms' out there who thought you could do it all by yourself... How do you expect to lead THE WORLD if you can't even lead your own daughters in your own house???

Yes, and how many of those people who said men make better leaders were MEN???? Perhaps the real issue is that women are more fair when it comes to judging men and women, whereas men are still biased. I don't think men actually believe men make better leaders, they are just more competitive. Plus, they are always looking for the ONE thing they can say they are better at, because women do something they cannot (give birth). So they overcompensate and try to compete and show they are better at certain things when really they are just competitive.

Women and men can both lead. Women tend to be more compassionate. And we need more of that. Perhaps if the world were run by women, we wouldn't be in all the nasty wars we are in.

for the really answer to the question of all , women is the very person who grows the child , a son , who becomes a president .... I truly believe that a great full and successful man always has a great women in back , man is the head , but women can do as much as man can , we all have the right of choosing , the right of working the right of being in social programs , the right of leadership , if a women was not a good leader how could she be a good mother , and raise a good son , to be a leader !!!????

I would be very happy to receive an answer for my question !

If a women is not a good leader , How could she raise up a son , (a man ) to be a great leader ....!?

from those who believe , a women is as special as a man ! we all are children of our father who loves us , He gave us the great gift of motherhood and womanhood ...

It's also a choice to be a leader. I think that many women simply choose not to. For many reasons. Not the least of which is the time and energy it requires.....

I think that while women may have the capacity to be excellent leaders, there are definite social conditioning challenges that need to be addressed before they will be the kind of person people will follow.

I know so many women who are brilliant but conduct themselves like they're doomed to entry-level life for eternity. Men seem to be conditioned to believe they're leaders, women almost always need to train themselves into believing they have the right to be.

Women have lead powerful governments that had great influence on how the world was run in the past.

There were good one's and otherwise just as with male leaders.

But Hillary lost.

It's Obama vs McCain.

Is there something we don't know about them that only their doctor knows?

They look, act and talk like males.
