Why would an organization send out someone to do an interview and they aren't thoroughly qualified to answer questions? If I ask an interviewer a question and he/she doesn't know the answer, all they have to say is that they don't know. If I have to lob slow softballs to the person who's doing the interview, is this really the place I want to work?

The office politics can make or break your experience at a job, if the interviewee completely avoids asking any questions that might help him/her to better understand the politics and culture of the office, there could be bigger problems later on.
