Some of this is just plain wrong. There are ethical responsibilities in a supervisory role and if they are wrong, they are wrong, regardless of whether they have control over your life. This means they shouldn't have this control because of their own actions and there should also be repercussions for false information. I'm saying that your opinions are just as important as theirs and yours should not be compromised nor over-ridden by someone who has their own interests at heart. That alone should give your the right and confidence tio state your case, especially if it can be backed up with facts and witnesses.

My supervisor ask 15 people to comment on my review. Being he was not trustworthy, I felt like he was looking for negative feedback. Nine staff members responded to my review. I followed up with the staff members and asked them to send me the comments they sent to my supervisor. When I received their comments I found out the my supervisor had changed their remarks and caused it to be negative instead of positive. How can I fight this and is it legal.

Not good advice when the evaluator is creating a paper trail to fire you. Then the evaluation that is signed is giving the employer more to say that you received a so-called fair warning. Also, let's not forget that HR is part of the company. They don't really have your best interest. They are protecting their job with the company.
