It sounds to me like you're talking about Charisma - but not the manufactured type we see from Hollywood celebs and politicians looking for a quick vote. Charisma that inspires you to invite someone into your personal network also includes a heavy dose of morals, ethics and principles that you admire in that person. And, I'm with you - the "branding" thing stinks. Thanks for your post!

is most valuable to you if you're selling something, including possibly just selling yourself---as is needed in elections or movie-starring or boardrooms full of guys who might hire you on a vote.
Otherwise, you will be just as happy with real empathy, real sense and real character.
When buying commercial insurance, real estate, banking services, software, investments, and any kind of consulting service, BEWARE the Snap guys/gals. They are everywhere. If you buy the snap, you probably will lose your grip on buying the substance of good products on good terms.
