How to Move Forward With Action or Dream

I am definitely the dreamer. I had this discussion with my wife in the car today. I have endless amounts of dreams and ideas but I don't take action on any of them. My wife calls me the idea junkie. I have so many unlived dreams in my idea book. Time to put some action behind them.

It is one thing to dream about a career. It is quite another to find it within reality.

You have to operate within the realm of what's available and what's marketable. Please note that many employers and fellow job seekers do NOT view work as a calling of passion. They instead see work as a form of drudgery that pays the bills. If they come across someone who seems to have a dreamy attitude with their head in the clouds, they won't hire you, especially out of resentment.

Some dream careers don't pay very well. Conversely, some high-paying careers are infinite nightmares. Tradeoffs are to be considered.
