Just the type of pep talk I need. It's easy to get comfortable, but you have to be uncomfortable in order to reach new heights.

Great article, Curt.

Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone can, and often does, cause stress. However, tackling something that is acheiveable should generate eustress (or "good" stress) rather than distress (bad stress). It is this eustress that will give the feeling of accomplishment when you complete your challenge. So when you're feeling those moments of uncertainty during your challenge, remind yourself that this eustress is all a part of it and will actually help you grow.
