I know, it's ridiculous. There's no way Drew would try to write a job seekers’ book. He just doesn’t have that kind of experience.
But that is not keeping some real charlatans from writing books for recession-weary job seekers.

After all, their agents say, "What a market!" Nearly 20 million people out of work. So write something, get a catchy title, and we will stack it right next to Seth’s new book on the main table at Borders. Do I smell a hit?
It is bad enough that Mr. Madoff took billions from the (mostly) rich. But when people who know better try to take money from the jobless, either by charging for access to their “job board,” or by writing reused and under-performing drivel…well, it irks me. Mostly because there are some top notch books out there now, by authors with years and years of experience helping job seekers.
