Yesterday - after losing my job on June 26th - all emotions that I had tried to suppress - came to the surface & I suffered a "burn out" day! These were family related, losing my job, not finding a job yet, the daily, grueling search, etc. I took a day off job hunting to release these emotions & gain control again! Change what I can & accept what I can do about any of these "things" - and know I will probably HAVE to accept the family issues as they are - until I'm met 1/2 way. The jobs seem to be dwindling for the past couple of weeks which didn't help either! The one thing you mentioned really hit home with me! I made up my mind that instead of applying for every job that I might have the skill sets for - whether entry level or not - I'm, as of today, going to just apply for jobs that truly fit what I want from a position, including responsibility and challenges! This will certainly cut down on the grueling job search daily! It just wears one out and I bet it ticks off the recruiters too! I realized that I sit at the computer for at least 6 hours - 7 days a week - and that's just not working! Also, unfortunately, I'm a smoker & I find myself chain smoking while on the computer! All good reasons to stream line my search! Thanks for all your tips! They've been taken to heart! Keep up the good work! Keeping the faith here in Southeastern Wisconsin!
