I found this post to be extremely helpful to my job search. As a working professional already who does want to go back to school, this was quite informative. Thank you!

Hi Ron....went back for my cert in special ed., but was required to take many more classes then you. Still paying student loans, but well worth it!!

Take a loan if you really want it!

Well, you could always apply for financial aid from the goverment, and choose an easy career (one which you dont have to study alot for, since you don't have time), like buisiness.

I am working full time. I want to get certification in Special Education. All I need is two courses in Special Education to become a Special Education Teacher in the state of Alabama.I am trying to do this on my own without any assistance from any grants or any banks. I have a BA Degree in Communication, which I have achieves on my own without any assistance from any banks or grants.I am opened to any suggestions on how I can finish my certification requirements on my own.

Thank You

Ron

I'm 44 and I'm bartending as my profession. I want to and plan on going back to school. The problem is being able to afford and have the time to do this. A profession that would help pay for education would be ideal. I just hope by the time I finish my ecucation, I'm not to "old" to enter a competitive work force. Help!!
