I find its nearly impossible to use this method or any method really for companies with very large recruiting and HR departments. You have no way to know who is actually reviewing your resume.

how in the world would this ever work for larger companies?

Dear Heather,

I am a stickler for addressing a job application directly to a Hiring Manager, however I cannot tell you how many times I have been trumped trying to uncover identities of Hiring Managers though I've had a few success.

After reading your blog on "How to Find a Hiring Manager's Contact Information" and utilizing your suggestion to "Make use of online tools and search engines" presto!!! every search I performed yielded a result.

Brilliant, outstanding, an attention grabber; learnt something new, I have no doubt it would enhance my cover letters and merit a second look or consideration.

Thank you very much, same thing to Mariana, being a member of the New York City Paralegal Association has been beneficial.
