Great insight- I was just curious about the interviewer stressing how much I could make and wanting me to call a few of there customers to talk about how the company is.

Even if you ace the interview, the potential employeer will move on to checking references. And this is where many great candidates run into trouble. I've preformed many interviews that went really well, but when I checked the references it seemed like the candidate did not select them carefully. As a former HR professional, I can't stress how important it is to choose your references wisely. I would say that if you have any questions about your references a great resource would be www.allisontaylor.com. They offer reference consultation. It could be a great help in your job search.

I had 3 interviews with the same company, was shown around the office right down to the supply closet & didn't get the job.

This doesn't always work. I had an interview that I thought went great. It lasted way longer that it was suppose to, I was introduced to all sorts of people outside of the library, I was leaving for a cruise that I had already paid for in a few weeks and the director talked about working around it, we had a great conversation and at the end he told me he was going to check my references the next day. He never checked my references. I sent him a thank you letter and then a follow up leter and was told that he hired someone else. So you never know what someone is thinking.

When an employer is toooo interested in you, it should make you nervous. ;) You definitely have that right.

Run away fast.
