I've worked more than one job for the past five years or so, and the more thought I put into the job before I pursue it, the better the outcome for sure. Holding down a full-time 9-5 job meant that I had to figure out what hours and how many I wanted to work outside of that. I found (through some stressful trial and error) that I'm much better at working weekday evenings than anytime on the weekends.
