Do I have a lawsuit if the harrassment is not directed toward me... And may not be harrassment, but its two employees in the office that says sexual things to eachother back and forth all day. Its very disturbing. And also my boss is married and has her boyfriend coming into the office, she also invited me out to eat for lunch because she wanted to eat out with her boyfriend, but tell her husband she was with me... Its hard to work there. Do I have a case?

It is horrible that sexual harassment occurs in the workplace every day in jobs all over the world and has become so common that a lot of women think of it as the norm and don't think that it needs to be reported. This is a serious problem. The number one way to do something about this issue should start with the victim. The woman should find out if anyone else is a victim, contact a supervisor, and if that doesn't work, contact the HR. If there is still nothing being done, the EEOC should be contacted so that they can investigate the case. This is an important issue and will continue on if women don't report it and just brush it off! In order to change things for us, we need to stand up and fight for our equal rights!

Sexual harassment in the workplace is an ongoing problem that affects moral as well as productivity among your employees. Even if the employee is not the victim, know about ongoing sexual harassment within the organization affects everyone.

What about a supervisor tries to unhook your bra?

I think the only way to handle sexual harassment is to document (at home) what is going and then file a lawsuit. It's 2011 the days of educating are long past. Lawsuits are the only way to get a businezz to change.

What about a creepy guy that just stares at me? No comments to me, no touching thank goodness. He stares at me, which creeps me out.
