I kinda totally agree with all what you said, you mention every excuse on the book to ask for a raise, but you forgot to mention one valid reason to ask for a raise, are you to their side or our side?

you seem like you shutting us down, I believe if I worth a raise , I will ask for it and I wont have no excuse , it just need a raise period, if they don't want give me a raise, them my effort will shift toward hunting for a new job.

If its been quite a while since I got a raise, what DO I say that will absolutely convince my boss to give me a raise?

Apart from the usual, I really work for the company's growth; what if my reason for wanting a raise is the inflation?
