I have read your article, with great interest.
I enjoy writing, but, never had the time to really write, so I jotted or started topics that was of interest to me, that I was going to finish when I retired.
Well, I am retired now and has quite a lot written about the said topic, although it has been three years in the making.

I’m a Millennial and the company I work for deals a lot with the tension created in the workplace by the Millennial generation. There is a program we have developed called “Managing Millennials” and I think this article touches on some of the key issues that are brought up in the training. Yes Millennials have weaknesses but like any generation they also have strengths. The training that we have focuses on turning those weaknesses into strengths so Millennials can work to their full potential. I appreciate the opinions shared in this article. I believe there are things for both sides to work on with this issue but I don’t think there needs to be so much energy spent on the negativity of Millennials in the workplace when we can spend it focusing on a solution.

These are great points, Miriam. Gen Y is the future of the workforce and as a business owner, the are the future of my company. I employ countless of people in this age group and my staffing firm, LaSalle Network, places thousands of people with our clients...and have found so many young people who have terrific work ethics, don't feel entitled; they just want to be communicated with and respected. It's gotten to a point where so many managers assume there are going to be management problems that in fact, they are creating these problems for themselves.
