Your Guide to Getting a Summer Internship

Great post Lindsay. In the current economic scenario in the country when getting jobs let alone internships is becoming increasingly difficult, this is a great guide to get a good internship.

I have a small concern though, you have mentioned that we have to take the internship not for the money, but for the experience and for the potential job, but I read here - http://blog.classof1.com/laws-governing-unpaid-internship-program/, that if a college grad is taking an unpaid internship, the 6 facts that are mentioned in the post are to be followed.

So is it a wise idea to take up an internship without giving importance to money? Especially since we are going to be working hard, so why not earn what we deserve as a result.
