Indeed. We can "afford" as much retirement security as we find the nerve to legislate.

Step one is to re-increase the corporate income tax rate to create the proper choice.

Spend it on employees or spend it on income tax. They will spend it on employees, just as they did 30 years ago (before Reagan).
