Hi,

I worked at Macy's 5 years and 10 months.

I have 66 years old and I terminated my job at Macy's on Nov, 30, 2012 because I left for 6-8 months in Romania for family problems. Nobody from Macy's didn't tell me that I can to receive some money as a pension from Macy's ,because I worked over 5 years at Macy's.

I asked my staff from 31 Store Macy's Boston ,end told me that need 10 years for pension, but not true ! 10 years need for SSI (40 credits).

Please , tell me what need to do now?

Thank you,

Maria Haman
