I have been looking the parks in the United States, and I think they are amazing, and plus, if I were a senior, I don't think I would want to go through the hassle of going to another county to see a beautiful park.

Are you ashamed of the US or what?
The US has some of the most incredible wilderness parks including Assateague National Seashore, a prisitne natural beach with wild ponies, the Grand Canyon, the Tetons, Muir Woods, etc. In a time of recession, you should be giving advice to travel close to home and support the local economies.

I have traveled all over the world and still find our American Parks by far the most receptive. Most others charge large fees for staying and high prices for meals. Fortunatly I was on a Goverment contract the last time I traveled. Lets look at local parks such as a simple one called Boiling Springs in Oklahoma. You will find deer, wild turkeys and many other animals wandering around all the time. A nice Golf Course is near by and and Woodward is also near. Try it some time you will like it. Dr. Paul

I don't believe that your article didn't mention one park in the U.S.A. I know we have some beautiful parks that seniors & young alike can enjoy & at a reasonable price. Step to your business...Thank YOU

Sorry so many are angry here, but I get the point. But at least "travel with grandchildren" offered a nice alternative instead of complaining. We all need to help each other out. State parks in WVA, VA, and MD have great cheap sites with cabins, near many points of interest. esp. civil war sites and not crowded at all like our nat'l parks. Enjoy.

I was very disappointed to read that you would recommend 10 parks, not even in the US. Most of us could never afford to travel to such places.
Thank you for the other information on the Senior Pass for adults 62 years of age and older. This was much more reasonable information.

Lovely choices, although Acadia National Park and the Grand Canyon are beyond gorgeous. The Grand Canyon needs to be seen to be described. Nothing compares, having visited many National Parks in the US,
