Just when you think you've had enough of real life bull for the day. There is always some predjudice self rightous so called America the beautiful war vet crying. We (as in all of us) thank all of you for keeping us safe, and representing Americans. All of you prejudice folk please come out the closet.

Bring back your actions and REAL feelings toward Black Americans. We already know how you feel anyway. You look real stupid blaming Obama for everything in the worlds existance, when he just got into office. He was given a mess to clean up. HE and his Administration work hard to help poor people like you. Yet you fail to see most of the Senate is prejudice, and intimidated by Obama and his administration.

Mr., and many like him, God Bless

I have been on social security for 19 years, however, I'm only 68 soon to be 69, so I'm on disibility type, regardless, I want to know how large of pay increase the politicans received? This Obama team should be sent down the tracks, and give our great country to get back on thetrack, Obama and his bandits seem to forget or just don't give a damn we older people the ones who has kept this country free, so people like Obama and his so-called administration can live high on the hog, I guess my straight talk gives you the idea I served in the military, Yes, you damn right I did, and served three years in Vietnam, how many years did Obama serve? IfI was still in the military, I would turn my back on him if seen him in person, He can not lead our military with no experience, and the coward he is, he should be impeaced, sent back to his place of birth in africa. Like to see Obama, Bidon and Poleci live on social security for a month.

I am A disabled Navy Veteran also on SS Disability. I am so ashamed when I hear my fellow Americans and disabled veterans complain about the benefits they recieve such as pension, medical care through Medicare or the VA hospital etc. etc. I thank God every day that I was smart enough to join the Navy and even though I felt it was the end of my world when I had my medical discharge, they have taken care of my needs ever since as well as Social Security. Think of the other option of living in a box on the street. It may not be enough to live high off the hog, but it's enough to keep most people off the street (I rent a room) and clothed (think Goodwill, they have nice stuff!) and fed (I shop Aldi!). In this economy, everyone needs to think smart with their money and not be so critical of our benefits. There are so many others who have nothing.

Is there a S.S. check for 2010 of $250.?

Katy Keen of MT 9:57PM January 11, 2010

I DO NEED THE MONEY BUT WHEN BUSH GAVE US 300 DOLLARS FOR RECOVERY IT DID NOT DUE MUCH. WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND, ALSO IT IS NOT JUST THE PRESIDENT THAT HAS PUT THIS PLAN INTO ACTION. YES HE SIGNED THE BILL TO GIVE US THIS ONE TIME AMOUNT OF MONEY BUT CONGRESS COULD HAD VOTED TO OVER RIDE HIS ACTION TOO. MYSELF I WOULD OF RATHER HAD A RAISE IN MY PAY THAN A LUMP SUM EVEN IF IT THE RAISE WOULD BE JUST 1%

THE PRESIDENT HAS A LOT IN HIS HANDS AND GETTING VERY LITTLE GOOD ADVICE FROM CONGRESS AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. REMEMBER AMERICA ISN'T RAN BY JUST ONE MAN. OUR SENITORS, BUSNIESSMEN AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE A LOT TO DUE WITH OUR ROAD TO DO WITH THE RECOVERY OF THIS NATION.

How do you say "can I buy 50 million votes"

Inflation is non existent, that's why no SS COLA.

Many items are lower in price, because merchants are scurrying for sales.

The government is forcibly taking my money and giving

it to you, even though my income is down 30% in this bad economy.

What a shame.

Today is the 4th of June. The cut off date for getting your 250. If you did not get it yet there is a good chance you are not getting it at all REGUARDLESS of when you started getting SSI.

I have been getting SSI for the past few years seeing as I am disabled. I PLANED on this 250 to help pay bills and other such things. The whole time being told be SS "dont worry it will come just wait"

Yet today is the 4th and I called in to tell them I have not gotten mine. First they told me to call my bank to make sure. I told that I did that. They said do it again then call us back (they didnt care I had been waiting 30 minutes already on the phone) so I do what they said and call them back to tell them something I already knew.

After waiting for 30 more minutes I get a hold of someome that has me wait for an hour as they "check whats going on".

NO LIE... this is what the lady told me after having me wait for an hour.

"Your not getting one cause there were a lot of checks that were mistakenly given out to the wrong people. The government will be doing monthly checks till the end of the year to determin who did and did not get there money. DO NOT call us cause it will not get you the money in anyway. If you have any further questions please contact your local social security office..." CLICK

I started getting SSI in Nov 2008, Dec, Jan, Feb, and March and I was told I'm not getting the 250.00 stimulus since I'm not currently receiving SSI. So all you people that think it's UNFAIR that you qualified for it in Jan or Feb 2009 and you're not getting it, think about others who did get it in the Qualifying months.
