Social Security Recipients Will Get $250 in May

i was awared my disablity on january but didn't get payed they say i qualifi scince jan but got paid for feb and not for jan. now don't know if i will qualifi for 250 moneys what should i do will i get it or not god bless thank you

If all government programs were administrated and founded by each and everyone for his or herself only

then failure by change could only effect oneself

ultimately being run more effecient and failure being

at a minimium.

The way it is now. The government thinks it knows what is good for everybody and how everyone is suppose

to live what is accceptable and not. Where did it say

that in the constitution. How about everyone be allowed

to do exactly what they want unless it effects the rights of another. Then our people could be individuals

looking for new ways to make life better for themselves

ultimately giving back to our country the things that made us greater than any other country on face of this

earth. The answer is usually in simiplicity rather than some greedy control freek deciding what is better

for me, how I am suppose to think,and live my life.

My husband is on ssi/disability, for a while, he has been waiting to get his check. His mother got hers, but he hasnt got his. What is the hold up? WE check our savings account, just about daily, to see if it has been deposited yet, but nothing, he got his letter in the mail, saying that he would get it ,but hasnt gotten it yet. I sure hope it comes soon. we could really use it.

I just filed for social security online at the end of January of 2009 and now because i probably wasn't eligible until February of 2009 and i did get a check for February I probably won't get the 250 which sucks. I lost my job one week after I filed for Social Security a job i've had since 1979. I raised 7 daughters by myself and some grandchildren too, without any child support. The reason i didn't get any child support is because my husband had a serious brain injury and was a year and a half short of getting social security therefore he got ssi which i was not entitled to. He was in and out of jail, prison, and mental hospitals, because they couldn't find the right medicine for him all these years that he was talking to himself and having delusions and spraypainting churches, court houses and federal buildings because the doctors said he had a thing called the prophets syndrome and he thought he was a prophet. Anyway to make a long story short i'm surprised i'm not in the nuthouse by now. Now i don't know how many other people are in the same situation, i mean the part about not qualifying for the 250 because i was probably only 2 weeks shy of being eligible for ss. So i'm just hoping maybe just maybe i'll get the check anyway because if anyone deserves it i think i'm one of the ones who does. Oh yeah and also i stuck with my husband through thick and thin for 16 years until I just couldn't do it anymore with all the kids and grandkids. So anyway thats my story not that anyone cares anyway but i just hope if theres any money left out of the stimulus package i get my 250 because God only knows I can use it.
