Survey: One in Five Companies Have Now Reduced 401(k) Matches

401k's for retirement are a joke. The 3% match offered by most companies is meaningless. 3% of 100k is 3k. Work for the government and receivece 80% pay for life. The disparity between the public and private sectors are huge. Federal government needs to begin an enhanced version of social security. Bring all public pension plans into this system. The playing field needs to be leveled.
