I agree with Tony. Life is precious. I wish to retire early. Only 51 but want out asap!

You are exactly right my friend ! The demographics ( 80 million boomers ) retiring over the next twenty years ) there is no escaping that fact and the stock market will suffer ! America will suffer !

This is certainly not the right time for early retirement .People who never indulged in genuine retirement planning are now seen very concerned and they should be considering the economic conditions of the country.Social Security has raised many skepticism in the past few years and there has been growth of 401 k Plan and Roth 401 k ,Roth IRA. So basically there are still many options .

Retire now! If you are frugal and very careful with money, and you retire now, you will unquestionably extend your life. Work is stressful. Eliminate it from your life forever.

I retired at the age of fifty-nine, have just turned eighty-two, and ballroom dance twice a week. Life is precious!!

is that there are good demographic reasons to believe that the American stock market might not fly high again for the next 20 years. That's because the boomers, including pension funds, are likely to be selling into it as they age.
