Giving Up on Retirement in the Sun Belt

from a cold climate to a milder one (for WHATEVER reasons), you'll be grateful for your surroundings. And, it's not all about golf or retirement stuff.

It's simply much easier to function in all activities without the drags of too many rainy/cloudy days, cold winds, ice storms with power outages and downed trees and snow all over the place for days or weeks.

Central New Mexico is really nice at 5000 feet elevation. It's not a summer oven like Vegas or Phoenix. It's not a steambath like Florida. Unlike Hawaii or Southern California, we have no beaches---but you can still afford a house here.
