Healthcare reform threats are jacking up costs. Advantage Plans being threatened. 21% decrease in Medicare reimbursements to doctors is scheduled for 2010. And the beat down goes on. Medicare Part D costs from inception to 2008 are actually less than what the Bush Administration forecasted when they propose Part D. Bush did something right!

You'd think if Republicans got what they wanted in a plan---as they did with Medicare D---that your net costs would be going DOWN, due to the miraculous free-market competition effect they always tout. Right? What happened?
