More Extended Families Living Together

Doesn't always work out with a happy ending. It is a large adjustment moving in with relatives; in this case, cousins. Cousin Jo Ann and I were doing fairly well living together until her daughter, husband, and their teenage daughter moved in. Their way of life much different than ours. They spend money they don't have; go to fast cash places; eat like they are rich; husband doesn't get paid for months at a time; but says he's self-employed. Wife tries to carry the family at a low paying job. They can't even keep up with the utilities here. Daughter's mom cut them a break by not charging them rent. They are using her/us. Much friction in the house/agruments. No. Not always a good idea moving together. I'm on my way out of here. The tension is terrible. Think it over really good before making this decision of moving in together. It can destroy your health and well being. If daughter and her family hadn't moved in. . .it would have been perfect for us two old senior/cousins. We wanted to be there for each other. Her daughter & group has ruined it, and probably our friendship with it. It almost seemed planned.
