Do you know of any senior group like facebook?

When AARP sends you info.frequently.
When everyone calls you sir/mam.
When you have shoes older than some of your co-workers.
When your children are turning back the clock on their birthdays.
When you mention events and noteables that others have never heard of.
When you say, "That's not music!"
And, drum roll please!
When you qualify for Denny's Sr menu.

Experience (something found, by definition, in older people) leads many to understand that communication is an important skill. Twittering TWEETs is not communication, its just making fast, concise, noise more often than it is not. It's great for YES, NOW, I'll be there, etc. type communications but even THIS short comment is too aggrevatingly long to TWEET.
I predict that younger people will grow out of Twitter when they discover its failures and the allure of its newness diminishes.

Just read an article discussing the fact that Facebook doesn't even offer a demographic choice for the "over 64" segment to advertisers. Now seeing studies that show one of the fastest growing groups being the seniors. It will be interesting to see how Facebook and others, currently in a race to offer more tech and services, try to cater to this fastest growing segment. There is going to be big chance for those who can capitalize on these changing markets.
