Older Workers Losing Faith in 401(k)s

If Internal Revenue Code Section 401(k) had ever been envisioned as the defacto national "pension" plan, it would have had a name in the legislation. Note, it still doesn't. The fact of the matter is, many folks are going to be very poor in old age except for Social Security---which they had better protect politically.
