I am retired and NOT an experienced investor and yet managed to get all three answers correct in seconds. That makes me suspect that your respondents were grade school children.

Why wouldn't a mutual fund sponsored piece state that your money is safer in a mutual fund?

Why wouldn't a group of people who are dependent on you making money at a job tell you that you will almost never have enough to retire?

Those are some scary statistics, for sure. Add that kind of cluelessness to the astounding number of people who maintain ongoing credit card debt...... well, ignorance sure ain't bliss in this category. :(
