Good Luck trying to register online. Keeps saying I ciouldn't register my SSN online and to call them. When you call all you get is a recording-no real help

I'm 72 yrs old and have my SS payments directly deposited into my bank. I do need a paper staement at the end of the year for my taxes, as I don't bank online or have a printer. I really don't like my personal info online or all of my personal info in one place linked to several places. I only get two statements a year from SS and I hope I can still receive those two paper statements, as I'm not that computer savvy. Do I have to go to a SS office to request thosew two paper statements per year?

This has been a good article to read. But,,, what I need to know is whats is going to happen when I renew my drivers license and I rufuse to give my social security number to the officer.
Mine says right on the bottom of the card, "NOT FOR IDENIFACTION PURPOSES, FOR TAX USE ONLY'. Please explain that please. I have a number the Police gave me many years ago so my soc. number is not on the. But I have been told I will have to show this soc. card when I renew to drive.
I think I will give up the right to drive and walk.

Hiroo will no longer need social secruity benefits after march of 2013,beacuse CVS pharmacy is charging lots of money,for his medications making it impossible to pay for his meds.He might end up in a mental hospital by march 9,2013.
