Pizza Hut: People Prefer Us To Their Local Pizza Parlor?

December 17, 2008 RSS Feed Print

PIzza Hut has apparently launched an ad campaign featuring a "viral" (acted?) video in which a wacky and crazy guy goes to seemingly independent, mom-and-pop style pizza joints to pull the wacky and crazy stunt of ordering Pizza Hut!

Some people are saying that this video "disrespects" small-business owners.

What I find more offensive is just the idea that someone would take Pizza Hut over their local, small pizza joints. I definitely don't subscribe to the notion that "local is always better." But when it comes to Pizza Hut, I personally would prefer just about any corner pizza place.
