Have the advantage of the kind of PR the media loves to promote.

Common sense and logic do not sell like finding somebody to blame for all the country's ills.

Those greedy, wealthy UAW auto workers living in those mansions and spending all that free time on the golf courses with the likes of OJ and professional athletes (big kids raking in millions playing little kid's games) and hob-knobbing with the musical & actor celebrities dripping money from their outlandish costumes----

Well, you get the picture? Such unchallenged lies sell better than the truth.
